Switch

Plate
Holds many switches in position. Cutouts and mounting style need to match the intended layout and case.
PCB
The electrical board that receives keypresses. Socket type, layout support and firmware are model-specific.
Case
The enclosure that supports the assembly. Its dimensions and mounting system set the fit boundary.
